Hello,

I just downloaded the new version 3.72, but it does not recognize my VirtualJ 8.

Hi Beatmaster

I dont run VDJ so I cannot comment on a possible reason for your problem.

Uninstall, delete all folders related to Aeon and reinstall.

If that doesn't work you will have to open a support ticket with Soundspectrum.

Hello BIT,

the box can not be activated and remains empty

Hi BTT

When you install SS products the boxes for the players you have installed are checked by default. If you dont want to install for a certain player you need to uncheck the box.

Just checking you were both alert and noticed my deliberate mistake.

Seriously, I apologise for giving incorrect information. I have this very moment 3:44 am GMT sent Frank (SoundSpectrum) an email asking for his input into solving this problem.

beatmaster2000, did you try juxtiphi's suggestion to uninstall Aeon, and remove all existing Aeon folders then download a fresh copy from SoundSpectrum and try a new install?

I uninstall Aeon and remove all existing Aeon Folders (also in the hidden Folder), run CCleaner.
I download a fresh copy from SoundSpectrum and try a new install.

Same Problem!!!

VirtualDJ box is displayed, but they can not be activated with a tick.

Very sorry you are having this problem. Virtual DJ was only added to Aeon in early December 2014, and as Aeon is not detecting the program it indicates there may be a problem with Aeon. I have sent an email to SoundSpectrum regarding this issue, and would ask if you would wait for their reply either here on the forum or direct to you by email. I will monitor this thread, but should you be contacted by email perhaps you would let us know. If you have not received any response by Tuesday post here, and I will chase Frank (SoundSpectrum) around the block a few times. Thanks for your patience.

Hi guys,

Good news! The issue has been fixed, and you should be able to install SoundSpectrum on VDJ! Just download the Platinum installer again, and run it.

Please let me know how it goes!
