I have windows media player version 12, using this in windows 7 home edition. When i use whitecape in windows media player i am unable to click on the scroll arrows in the bottom right hand corner when i open the menu panel. Both the scroll arrows to navigate the menu and the "X" button to close the menu will not function. However, when i open the stand alone for whitecap or when i open the visualizer in iTunes... I am able to use the menu control arrows and the "X" button to close the menus just fine. I figured it might just be some setting i have placed in WMP that i dont know about because the program works fine in both stand alone and when using it with iTunes.
Any ideas why i cant navigate the menus in WMP??
when using whitecap in WMP, can't use the control arrows????

Hi everyone,
I have exactly the same problem. The navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen will not respond.
So, I'm only able to use the first screen that appears in either option (waves, background, settings, etc), and then WhiteCap is blocked.
I have WhiteCap Platinum edition and would appreciate anyone's help to resolve the above issue.
Thank you very much in advance.

I found a "kind of" solution, also clarify my prob
Here is what I found with this issue. I can "use the mouse" to click on the menu icons, for the wave, background, etc. and move through the menus.. only the mouse will not click on the navigation arrows or the "x" key in the bottom right hand corner. This means that if i click the menu icons, once i move into the menu, i can not page down or move back, or close the menu using the mouse click... However, I didnt realize that i can navigate the menus using the "Keyboard Arrow Keys" instead. up, down, left, right: keyboard keys navigate through menus just fine. Now i just have to figure out which keyboard key can subsitute for the virtual "x" button so I can close the menu when im done using just the keyboard. For now I am simply using the "left" keyboard key to navigate all the way back to the begining of the menu in order to exit the menus (pain in the u know what). I would much rather be able to use the mouse click with the virtual arrow and "x" button if someone has another idea. Hope my new progress helps a little.
Hi starburstdude,
Yes man, that helps alot. Thanks very much.
Still though I would expect some kind of answer from someone responsible-a company representative.
After all we paid for this. Anyway their irresposibility does not strike me as something new.
The use of the arrows is a workaround, not a fix. BTW, in the standalone WCap the mouse is working fine. No issues there. So, it's definitely a BUG.

Let me know if you find a keyboard comand list somewhere...
Granted it is still a work around as you said.. but for now, a keyboard comand list would make it a little bit less anoying.
I'll do the same and keep you posted.
I wonder if we can escalate this thread to have a company tech look at it.
PLEASE SOMEONE WITH A REAL FIX REPLY!!!
