WhiteCap freezes up with i tunes

I am running itunes 12.12.4.1 and after a period of time WhiteCap (full screen) will freeze up and become unresponsive while the music continues to play. there is no way to stop and restart WhiteCap. i can do the ctrl-alt-delete and click on task manager but I do not get the task manager app to display (i'm thinking its there but behind the frozen WhiteCap screen. The only way out is to reboot the computer. this only happens with itunes and not any other musice sources i use. Is there a fix?

SoundSpectrum have abandoned their visuals which means they have not been updated for some considerable time, this is the reason you are experiencing problems using Itunes. Most forum members use Winamp which is compatible with SS visuals.

Make sure you download the full version as shown.
