Whitecap standalone not working with streaming music

Post by mbaur78 »

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. I followed all the tips but I can't get the stand alone to respond to streaming audio feed. I try all of the options for the feeds and it does work with my mic but not with the audio out. The one thing that i'm noticing is that it calls my main audio feed aux. I'm using a built in audio card and i'm trying to get the stand alone to work with the B96 audio feed. This is the Chicago B96 radio station.

try updating your onboard audio drivers and then reinstall WC

I went and purchased a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card this afternoon. I have updated all the drivers for the card. After doing this I uninstalled WhiteCap and reinstalled. It still does not work. It does not seem to be able to see the audio feed. Here are the options I see in WC under settings.
1. Sound Generator (Fluid)
2. Sound Generator (High Energy)
3. Sound Generator (Chill)
4. Microphone (SB Audigy) - Master Volume
5. S/PDIF-In (SB Audigy0 - Master Volume
6. Line-In (SB Audigy) - Master Volume

None of these appears to be the feed with the music. I know that if I plug a microphone in it works but I can't get the streaming music to affect Standalone at all.

Thank you for you suggestion earlier and to anyone else who might be able to tell me what i'm doing wrong.

Same Problem. Any Help?

My Soundcard:
PCIe SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Series, Driver: 2.17.6 (up to date)

I've tried different record-modes ("what-you-hear", micro, digital in, line, etc"), but can't hear streamed audio!

steamed audio may filter through your player try using the pluging for your player and see if it works
