Softskies wont work!

Post by racingdrivermatt »

I upgraded from the trial version (which worked fine) to the platinum version and now softskies doesnt work at all!

No errors....nothing!

Occasionally i get the softskies screen in Windows Media Player, and thats it! Nothing responds.

I try to boot the programs from the start menu...nothing. The V-bar tries to load, then says it cant and looks for a solution, then again.....NOTHING!

I've read through all the FAQ's on their website, nothing provides an answer!

PLEASE help! im starting to think it was a waste of money!

Im running windows Vista Home, on a dual core intel laptop @ 1.9 G/Hz, 1-Gig RAM. And its a Fujitsu siemens amilo laptop.

Hmmm, strange, since the trial worked fine. You should open a support ticket at http://www.soundspectrum.com/support/contact.html and someone will help you promptly. Make sure you include all details of your system and anything relevant that might help troubleshoot this issue. As a last resort, you will be issued a refund, so don't worry about this being "a waste of money."

did you overwrite the old installation or did you do a full uninstall?

if not you should uninstall SS and delete all the soundspectrum folder found in your documents application data folder then restart and reinstall the new version.

sometimes doing an overwrite installation causes problems and like gorus said don't worry about these programs being a waste of money cause they're not and soundspectrum is very helpful to their customers.
