Bug Report - FS_x & FS_y always revert to 800 & 600

Your System Information
Version of your OS: Mac OS 10.4.8
Version of SoftSkies 1.1.1 (1963)
Version of your media player: iTunes 7.02 (15)
Graphics hardware info: GeForce FX5200 with 64 MB VRAM driving Apple 17" Studio Monitor at 1280x1024 and Samsung SyncMaster 150MP at 1024x768.

Detailed Description of Bug
Just trying out the different resolutions and my only options are 640x480 and 800x600. Using both "m" key and mousing through graphical settings interface. Have edited "Preferences (iTunes).txt" and changed the FS_x & FS_y values to 1280x1024, saved and closed the file, then immediately re-opened to verify settings were saved. They were. This all done while iTunes is not running.

File was located at "/Users/roy/Library/Preferences/SoundSpectrum/SoftSkies/Preferences (iTunes).txt". Have searched hard drive to make sure I'm getting the right file. The only other files with the same name are in the paths for G-Force, Whitecap and Whitecap (Holiday Edition).

When I launch iTunes and check for full screen resolution, still the only available options are 640x480 and 800x600. I then quit iTunes and recheck the pref file to find FS_x & FS_y have reverted to 800x600. Redid the edits using 1024x768 values as well. Same results.

P.S.: this also happens in G-Force 3.5.7 (1767), so is there a shared file that may be overriding both :?: :?

Disregarding for a moment what the preference values say, does SoftSkies appear to actually be changing resolutions and going fullscreen at 800x600? Or does it seem to be going fullscreen at the current "native" resolution (1280x1024)?

Because of a bug in iTunes 7.0, SoftSkies should be going fullscreen only at the currently selected resolution.

It looks like 800x600 to me, especially when I list help or settings.
