There are also programs for windows (I dont know about Mac) that link different audio related programs by "Virtual" cables if you dont want to run a line in back to your computer. They use no CPU power at all which is great and will mean almost no lag between sounds and visuals.

Thats nice man, very popart. Check out my desktop background I screenshotted. I love it but cant seem to recreate it. I have more cool ones, I might post them all.
