Install notes
Hi Jonh2o I'm not 100% sure it is the same for all variations of G-Force, but for Platinum, all you do is to go into the Installation Files Folder and then the Library Folder within that which is on the mounted disk. Copy the contents of the Application Support folder into your ~/Library/Application...

I decided on WiMP because I could embed it in the web page with FrontPage and it shows G-Force. Normally, I use WinAmp to run G-Force. I do have iTunes but have been using WinAmp for years. Sometimes for beta testing I get WiMP, iTunes, WinAmp runing G-Force as well as the standalone and V-bar. Jus...

I don't know. Is an alias Mac-terminology for a copy? MP probably needs it's own specific ?bin? file. Remember I am Mac-illerate, the closest experience I've had is the Apple IIe. If you purchased Platinum G-Force you can just re-install G-Force, making sure Media player is checked. If you have Gol...

chkman I have WMP installed but I can't see any obvious way of installing GF for it or, for that matter, any sign of a GF plug-in on the soundspecrum site. I assume that as I have had it installed before I installed GF, it would have installed a plug-in if it exists. So I don't think I can be of muc...

Truus, You say iTunes shows G-Force on the Mac Does it show G-Force in the web browser window on this link? http://gforce.gatlight.com/GA/script/mactest.htm That is the question! chkman When I go there I get greeted by the 'Yes' and see a static tiled view of your avatar. The 'Yes' plays on refresh...
Anyway, what I need is a Mac user to tell me if they can get G-Force to run in the media player (probably iTunes) in this web page. And if so, will it start again automatically when you refresh the page?
Hi chkman On my Mac the sound file runs under Quicktime - the same when ...

Hi 8Snow4Aurora I've been using Macs since 1993 so I'm biased, but things are not as they used to be. There is a Windows bias generally, but with OS X being *nix based there is so much more out there which the old Mac OS lacked. I love it and are confotable with things. Windows will dominate, but as...

Re: RE: Disingenuous Marketing
Maybe I could loan you mine. It's a nice feature to have, without a doubt, but it's surely not a deal breaker. Besides, I spend most of my time adjusting the almost too many variables (Direct-X, DSP plug-ins, Audigy controls) that the art of properly rocking-out entails these days. Hi 18Snow...

disingenuous marketing
Having recently upgraded from the free version to the Gold version on the strength of an email sent by the company, I find it disingenuous that it was not made clear that there are differences in the fuctionailty of G-force on different OSs. I was particularly interested in having the toolbar, but a...
