System requirements on a Macbook

I'm just wondering if G-Force will run okay / smoothly with a projector on a year-old Macbook with 2gb ram? It's the integrated graphics I am concerned about. Thanks.

Which projector?

I am looking to buy a projector to use with G-Force for music performances in small venues (I do have a commercial licence). I wonder if there are any specific things I should look out for in terms of the type of projector to buy in order to get a good result? It will be used with a Dell laptop whic...

Yes I am using XP.

That's really helpful. I will certainly try what you suggest.

Thank you very much.

Thanks for that. Makes sense. Any quick tips on how to spot which might be the troublesome processes and also, is there any way of preventing Viruscan etc. from running in the background? I know there is a way to trim down the default startup processes but I don't remember how. :)

Pause / stutter

I am running G-Force on a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop with a 1.6gig processor, 512mb ram and a 128mb video card. Looks great and runs smoothly except for an occasional glitch where it momentarily freezes or pauses and then carries on. Earlier today, this was happening every 30 secs or so. I have read ...

Hmm.. Just came across this in another post, written by atriniti: ¨Your video card and RAM are largely irrelevant. This app is 95% CPU power.¨ Is that true? If so, that seems to confuse the issue. Or is it that smooth performance in a live setting requires as much power as possible in both the cpu a...

Thanks Juxtiphi. That makes sense. I suppose we're talking about something with 128mb minimum video ram? I am more used to pc's so in that case it would probably also mean a separate card, i.e. not integrated. I presume the same would be true for a Mac?

Apple laptop to run G-Force

I want to use G-Force Pro in musical performances. I have a current commercial licence and have used it successfully with a desktop pc. I want to buy a 2nd hand Apple laptop to use instead. I am wondering whether a G4 iBook (1.33 12¨ model) would be adequate (it has only 32mb vram for the graphics) ...
