I've just re-visited this feature, and you're quite right - the text looks fine. In fact, on my 1920x1080 screen there is hardly a discernible difference with the option switched on! Except for the amazing speed-up and the PC fan as quiet as a mouse.
Thanks, again.

Thanks (New version is fast! And it fixes my crashing probs)
Just installed 3.8b1 and it works with JRMC in full screen without any of my previous crashing problems... the last version I could run properly was 3.7.2, and this version is so fast in comparison. Brilliant, thanks very much.

It was suggested that I use an older version of G-Force, so I'm going to try that out and see how it works. I've had the same problem with J River Media Center with every version AFTER 3.7.2. It'd be interesting if you installed 3.7.2 and it worked OK, as it does for me. Let me know if you get anyw...

Still crashing with 3.7.5
*bump* I'm still having to use 3.7.2 because of crashing in full screen mode (1920x1080) in the latest version of G-Force (3.7.5). When I try to exit G-Force back into JRMC, MC "stops working" and the video card gets so screwed up I have to reboot to get everything back to normal. Like I say, 3.7.2 ...

Crash with 3.7.4 & JR Media Center in full screen
I use JR Media Center in Theater View (Vista OS) with G-Force in 1920x1080, and ever since I upgraded to 3.7.4 G-Force has been crashing when in full screen mode. It happens when I try exit full screen mode and go back to Playing Now. G-Force hangs, and I have to use task manager to kill the process...

Many thanks for the work Andy - I've had a good look at this and it seems to work quite well speed-wise. However I can now see why this feature was removed - the pixelation is quite noticeable and when showing track info it reminds me of my old C64. Bit of an exaggeration I know but it amused me. I'...

Hmm well I'll take your word for it that there isn't much improvement - prob not worth the trouble installing an older version, just thought I might give it a go. Besides, I've found if I get rid of pretty much every background process including stuff like windows sidebar and objectdock, it runs qui...

Thanks for the reply juxtiphi. I use GF as part of a HTPC setup using J River MC - at any point I/someone might want to go back and browse the music, video etc, and for that obviously a high res is highly preferable. Pressing M does nothing, I can control the res from JRMC but that puts my whole HTP...

Track Info at end of song?
I've switched from Microsoft Media Center to a combo of J River Media Center and G-Force on my HTPC... pleased with the results so far (apart from the lack of a pixel doubling option for high-res screens). Anyway, MCE shows track info at the end as well as the start of a song - just thought I'd put ...

Pixel doubling
I've just bought the product and although it looks great, it's too slow on my 1920x1080 res screen. I've read a few topics and heard about the pixel doubling on earlier versions.
So my question is where can I download the latest version that had pixel doubling as an option?
