G-Force currently does not utilize dual cores, so keep that in mind. The new version 3.70 does load files using both cores but it does not generate the effects in real-time with both. Alex,

The 50% CPU usage issue is known and I'm sure SS will address it down the road. A faster CPU is really the best thing you can do to significantly speed up G-Force. Even then, you will have to overclock it if you are running at high resolutions to achieve a 30fps+ framerate.

At a fullscreen resolution of 1080p (1920x1080 or higher), you will not get G-Force to run faster than about 32fps. It's a limitation of the software. While a faster processor will equal better performance, the fastest Core2Duo processor overclocked to 3.2GHz can only achieve around 32fps in G-Force...
