I just did the same thing at a party recently, (projected G-force on my cealing in the living room, very cool.) you did not say what originaly was used prior to the I tunes ( I used the windows MP-10) and never had an issue perhaps it is an I-tunes issue?

Hi! just a thought, but how about giving us control of the sprites with a addition to the tool bar. what I was thinking was allowing the user to choose the sprites that they like, or removing the ones they don't by checking a box next to the sprite name. you could also link it to their "my pictures"...

spent some time last night playing around with the program folder and discovered if you delete the logo text as well as the logo that quicktime error pops up its nasty head. otherwise I still do not have quicktime installed and my jpgs show up fine.

I'd say you need to trim off some of the background process, your running 49 active at an idle. I am running G-force on a 1gig CPU with 1 gig Ram with only 9 process at idle, (this does not include the taskman or media player) all my transitions seem as smooth as silk. CPU does not peak above 73%.

I just double checked my system that has G-force installed and it has no quick time installed but plays all the stuff I've added without that message appearing. (got about 15 mg of sprites in it) weird..

maybe I should have been a bit clearer. I would like to lock a jpeg as forground display only. I'm building a system that will be only music and visuals only. its a 1gig dell workstation with 1 gig ram and 2 scsi drives both 10k. have you tried right clicking on the desired visual and saveing it as a wallpaper? (I beleave it is refered to as a snapshot on the menu.)

noticed this happening to me about a year ago, did some checking into my system and found 13 spyware entrys that were not picked up by the usual anti-spy devices. your task manager and killed the useless programs running in the background? checked for any "nasties" with some av and anti-spy? turned off all the enhancements of the player (EQ. and such)? these seem to be the big bogdowns for most others.
