hello as you know i run g-force in my cab, on a carputer (actually now an old HP ePC running a Pentium III of all things -- puts out an average FPS of 19 on an 8" lcd!) Anyway when i went to upgrade to 3.8 there is a new way of confirming the license code that involves connecting to the 'net for con...

monitor ratios for g-force -- which are best?

This discussion might be helpful:

http://hardware.mcse.ms/archive13-2005-9-232558.html

I'm just asking how the available g-force screen resoultions and ratios line up with common monitor native resolutions, and the optimum screen size & configuration in peoples' opinions.

TIA

Best LCD monitor for G-force

Hey all and especially hello and congrats to Andy, Anton and the crew. I'm still out there blowing minds now w/GF 3.7 beta the most beautiful and responsive musical visualization yet tendered. Super job, guys. I plan on buying a new LCD (monitor) for living-room G-force use. Any opinions on the best...

MC11.1.184 & G-force 3.54

If it's any encouragement I run both of these together and they run as seamlessly as any previous combination of the two. But jeez I don't have any suggestions other than another uninstall/reinstall doing MC first. Good luck.

track text overlay

I've been using jriver too, and am glad to confirm that this latest iteration is indeed compatible. To solve the overlay problem (and I guess they did this in response to complaints about the track info being hard to read) go to the toolbar, click on the bar that says visualization preferences. In t...

carputers

Howdy. I have had a carputer in my cab for 8 months. Actually, I set up the whole thing with G-Force in mind . I told the story in a previous post: http://forums.soundspectrum.com/viewtopic.php?t=623&highlight= Tell me how to attach a pic to this forum and I will show you, but basically the cheapest...

Pegged at 100% cpu/ follow-up to processor query

Hello Thank you so much for taking the time to answer re G-Force in different processors: http://forums.soundspectrum.com/viewtopic.php?t=700 I still think that each machine has its own "personality" in visual emission apart from the settings. I am continuing to blow away the Boston cab-taking publi...

G-force with different processors

Sort of a comment/question here -- does G-force alter it's own program to work with each individual CPU speed? As you know, I have been testing carputers (in-vehicle PC's) in a Boston taxicab. I have run G-force Platinum (with Media Center 11.0) in a unit with a Celeron 2.4GHz, a Pentium III HP el-c...

Hello.

I too use G-force in the car - (Boston taxi - see my post). I'm having a similar prob, though I thought it was unrelated -- my keyboard has stopped certain letters (a, n, and others) completely. Could this be G-forces fault?

G-force in a carputer

It's odd how things happen. Sometimes a small event turns out to be a life-changing fork in the road. Amazingly, a post on this very board did that for me. Listen... It was back in February when I wasa fooling around on the home PC and I ran across G-force. Around the same time I was looking to repl...
