I have no clue as to its resolution, but I do know that Snow Leopard has a new Screen Saver format, which previous programs won't work with. Changing to the new format may not be a simple matter, but I assume the folks as SS will make a valiant attempt.

As for your original question on exporting to a Quicktime movie. No, there is no current way to do that. There once was, via an application called Darkroom. But it has not been updated to work with the current versions of Quicktime, iTunes, OSX or G-Force.

This used to be possible using a utility called Darkroom (Macintosh only), which the folks at Soundspectrum provided free. After updates to both Quicktime, G-Force and iTunes, it stopped working. We were promised Darkroom would be updated, but it never happened. Two years have passed.

Even with two monitors and the same images playing on both, there is no real parallax, since the two images are not "taken" from a slightly different point of view. In other words, there is no stereoscopic effect on two of the same image, no matter how you view it.

To clarify: Apple does not allow a app to patch into the musicplayer system. SSo if G-Force made its way to the iPhone, it would have to get its music from another source (possible one of those "radio" web sites.

I'm not sure the Touch or iPhone would support GF. Obviously not as an iTunes plug-in, since iTunes isn't able to run on those platforms. Darkroom was the app for the Mac that exported to video (Quicktime). But it no longer works with the current version of G-Force. They have promised it will be updated "soon." But we are all still waiting.

You could easily do this yourself if only Darkroom were revived to work with the current G-Force (and possibly with White-Cap, Soft Skies, etc).

Has anyone figured out how to do this yet. In G-Force the Tool-Bar has a setting for turning off the album art, but White Cap seems intend on displaying it, if only for a second. I find it kind of distracting.

I don't understand why you'd want to see the "speakers" and other pseudo controls. I'm more partial to the full screen totally engulfing effect.
