PS:...Just a thought, It "Could" be possible that, after reporting the problem with GF v4.2 on 12/04 that it "MAY" have been temporally removed, and maybe replaced with v4.13 Could that have happened ?? I was unaware of an initial problem with GF 4.20 on 4/12, as I didn't even know that 4.20 was av...

At this point, I'm willing to write it off as "user error" on my part when I went to look for the latest version on 4/14. Maybe it was just something that "crossed in the mail", and the release of 4.20 back on 4/11 really should still have afforded me the opportunity to download 4.20 on 4/14... even...

Well, I don't want to belabor the point... if it was somehow a mixup on my part. But the day I received the email advising up my upcoming license renewal was 4/14. And my renewal was 8 days later, on 4/22. And on that day I did what I always do throughout the year periodically, which is to go to the...

4.2 has been posted on the download page (and News) since 11Apr ... hasn't it??? I am a bit confused... I received my email advising of the upcoming renewal date on April 14. My expiration is April 22. So I had 8 days to make my decision. I checked the website for "latest version" on April 14, just...

Rant: 4.13 "most current" until renewed -> 4.20
Just two days ago (April 21), STILL WITHIN EXISTING MY 1-YEAR MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES which theoretically expired on April 22, I checked for the latest version of G-Force software. I was just waiting until the very last minute to renew. At that time I was still provided with the O...

Got a reply from SoundSpectrum. Not surprisingly, they could not reproduce my problem and had not had a similar problem report from anybody else. I've replied to their reply with a more detailed demonstration of the problem, with screenshots. There is no question that when toolbar is auto-launched w...

The one thing I don't understand is when I change the WinAmp Prefs to my liking they re-set to the default settings when I load WinAmp / GF (except the transition values). I don't understand. If you've been able to change the "transition" values (presumably with Notepad or similar) in your Winamp p...

Re: Changing Morph Speed Between Configs
Could someone please show me how to change the morph speed when changing from one config to another in GF V4.0. You may already know this now, but all of those "duration" items in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Preferences (Winamp).txt can/should be changed to produce "fa...

Thanks for the suggestions. I've submitted the problem report using that link. Interestingly, the toolbar auto-start (or not) item is in the "general preferences.txt" file. This is the one where that "autostart with Winamp" checkbox lives. The "toolbar preferences.txt" file is where the toolbar-spec...

G-Force Platinum 4.1.3 - Toolbar misbehaving badly!!
Very anomalous behaviour with 4.1.3 G-Force Platinum toolbar. (1) Current contents of "toolbar preferences.txt": Audio.Preamp.Scale = 50 Audio.Response.Scale = 50 AutoStartVBar = 0 ColorMap.Interval = 50 FlowField.Interval = 50 FrameRate = 50 Particle.Duration = 50 Particle.Interval = 50 PrefsVersio...

Ok, I think I figured out what they're suggesting. Right-clicking on the small red box in the Winamp display window (as appears on the above screenshot of my 1ANDONLY skin) triggers a drop-down menu. There's a "Visualization >" item on that menu, which will generate a flyout menu if you hover the mo...

Have heard back from SoundSpectrum in reply to my recently opened support ticket on this issue: "I am able to duplicate the behavior you describe, though it does not appear that there is a workaround I can provide you to stop this from occurring. I am opening a bug report with our developers so that...
