Nytsia, I just checked this out on my laptop that still has 2.7. Used a script and ran it on both computers. 2.7 definitely has brighter sprites! Ialso looked in 2.7 prefs and there isnt a imap setting in there like there is in 2.8. So we are not crazy! I changed to imap setting in 2.8 to 1 and i re...

I have noticed this also that the background sprites are dimmer in 2.8.
Is is the imap preference by changing from 2.5 to i the answer?

Writing a .txt file of a current snapshot of combination of effects.

crtl shft x creates a .txt file called ctrlX.txt

Now how can I pick a specific CM (colormap) FF, WS or particle on demand?

I would want to call it a config, but I have seen config used to describe a .txt file pertaining to a FF, or a WS, ...

gforce does pretty good at trying to create contrast of text on display.
but there are sometimes it is hard to read. See my post about config menus.
There's gotta be a better way.

Yes by scripting a song, I mean time coding changes to music.
And I tried the changing the songs and associated txt file names by adding $ to the front of them, didnt work.
