The upgrade also seems to have improved this somewhat - the switch to complete full screen is faster now.

Thanks.

no, Andy, not the speed ones - the two sliders to the far right of the Tool Bar (top) - one with the little running man - framerate, and the other has a sqiggle, like the tilde key - the explanantion if ness - I believe to the beat of the music.

Hope that helps!

Hmm - I'd class that as a workaround. It doesn't solve the problem. After all, the idea is that I can create my own Themes, is it not? If the Themes don't work, then there is not much point in creating my own. We need to determine if this is in fact a bug, or if it is something to do with my particu...

Hi Boston, I chose max frame height and width as "No max" Then on Full Screen Mode I can go to 1680 x 1050 I would suggest that Orbstah is correct - it may be the size of your existing monitor keeping the res options down. Perhaps it looks to the Display settings on Control Panedl? Not sure about th...

I never noticed it said Media Center version. Given it couldn't be downloaded from Microsoft, I just assumed it was a trial - I didn't look that closely. Figured it was a bit of marketing material - marketing material I was happy to have, as it turns out. I think your HP guy was clutching at straws ...

WMP 11. Yes, I knew about playing it with other audio, but even that is with music, so that would exclude load being an issue. I also tried changing the Theme BEFORE starting anything playing - no change. Will have to wait and see if any others are experiencing the same thing I guess and whether it ...

Um........ dumb question here............... define "standalone"? You mean without any music?

besides, the way I read Themes, it is all about having suitable visualisations for the music.

It seems a bit intermittant actually. One out of say 6 times it will disappear, other times I can leave it for 5 minutes and it stays there. Mind you, I found the Enter key, and that works from the remote too, so it is all good at the moment - just curious really. I have this running at max frame ra...

Plugged in to WMP.

Yes, I agree about the definition of Mellow, but it is the functionality I am checking out at this point! LOL

It definitely does not skip the unchecked items.

Full Screen Mode

When I select Full Screen Mode on WMP 11 the buttom WMP band is staying on the screen. The top disappears, as does the XP task bar. I have to use the G-Force Full Screen command to make the lower band disappear. This was not the case until after I used the GF command the first time - prior to that t...

Yes, we should move off his post - go see if you can answer my post question about Themes! LOL I'm bit like a fish out of water on the Dell XPS forums - they are 90% gamers and think the rest of us don't really use computers - LOL. I'm trying to find a way to use the full 100% of the CPU with music,...

Well, you learn something new everyday, because there IS a version of G-Force bundled with WMP - I got it - three times (had to reinstall the OS, later upgraded WMP). That is how I found out about it in the first place. That is what he is talking about - he wants THAT version back, for although it i...

Good point about the restore point - having a senior citizen moment here obviously!

I had another thought too - would uninstalling WMP and redownloading it from Microsoft possibly work? If he doesn't have a restore point.

And you shouldn't let that child smoke!
