Just wanted to say thanks

I just renewed my G-Force subscription for the second time and I just wanted to say thanks again for the great program. It seems to evolve into an even better product with every release. I don't use my own computer much during the summer, so I just found out about the new ability of G-Force to use W...

It's got to have something to do with Yahoo Widgets...I don't know what, how, or why, but that's the problem.

Actually it's WMP 10 on Windows XP SP2 (that's Yahoo Widgets running to tell me the weather). However, I just noticed that when I'm not running Yahoo Widgets I don't have the problem ;) They must be somehow conflicting (though it only happens when I enter fullscreen mode in G-Force. It's fine before...

Horrible Video Corruption

As the title says, I'm getting horrible video corruption in Windows Media Player after entering/exiting fullscreen mode. It doesn't occur before I enter fullscreen mode, but after I exit, the screen corruption continues until I exit WMP completely. This is what I'm talking about: http://aycu15.websh...

I'm just guessing, but since I'm pretty sure there is only a PPC version of G-Force for the Mac, it's having problems with the Rosetta translation somewhere.

I too have found this annoying. It's understandable in the free version that the G-Force logo pops up a lot and stuff, but there should be an option to turn it off in the paid versions (or at least shorten the length of time it's displayed in the beginning and make it never appear in the rotation).

I'd bet that it'll be released long before a year has gone by so there's no need to worry ;)

You don't need to put up with the letterbox look. You can just adjust the settings in the toolbar (used to have to do it manually in a config file) so that there is no "frame height limit".

Well, it is possible to have a higher framerate, but they won't be displayed on your screen. This is also responsible for what people call "vertical tearing" I believe. I'm really not sure if G-Force does v-sync though. I haven't ever noticed a problem with vertical tearing (or low frame rates).

Temporarily turn off the WMP Toolbar (right-click your toolbar, go to "toolbars" and uncheck "Windows Media Player").

Thanks a lot keycompton! I've been somewhat miffed by this issue for a while but your solution did the trick! Full-screen goodness (1280x1024)! My computer handles it just fine...though it's probably above average: Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.36Ghz GeForce 6800GT 1GB RAM @ 262Mhz DDR (524Mhz) 160GB SATA RAI...

I absolutely love to watch G-Force when listening to my music. It can definitely put you into a trance-like state if you really let yourself get into it. When I'm rich, I'll definitely be putting it through a projector...for now I have to content myself to my measly LCD monitor.

G-Force != GeForce (!= means 'does not equal')

It's like the difference between Microsoft Windows and the windows in your house (almost). G-Force is only $10, I don't see what the problem is...even I can afford it :P
