Microsoft has released windows 10 for the Pi, able to show one application at a time.
Has anyone tried G-Force on there?

you can always go laser now with the laserdock from wicked lasers ;o)

I find it sad to have to turn a PC on just for a visualization
I would love to see it running on a small cheap platform like raspberry pi...

yes that would be a nice one also it could be an app on the itunes store and android market for standalone use on mobile devices another platform to look into would be the raspberry pi and finally : smart tv's ! just to enjoy G-Force when listening to your hifi, no computer turned on and no complex ...

Hi Guys,
Is it me or did the "no borders" option disappeared from the prefs file?
I just got my secondary display back so I'm playing around again (did not work for a looooong time) so it might be an old unsupported feature....can anyone confirm?

Names of enties depend on your soundcard driver so I can't really tell you which one will work
I'm using "Nameofmysoundcard - Stereo Mix" and that works

With the standalone you have to select an Audio source where you can get the sound from.
In the toolbar scroll the "visualization preferences" section of the preferences
Then on "Audio source" select different audio sources until you find one that works.

that's exactly what I do, thanks to the standalone
one tv screen dedicated to g-Force, the computer screen to work with whatever application I want to work on
and never use plugin
there are some downsides: no song title or album art displayed
what version of GF do you have?

I don't have experience with standalone converters
but some cheap videocards have a video out!
less wires, boxes, compliances, power supplies....
my personnal choice would be a new video card
now if you already have a quadro I understand you don't want to change ;o)

depending on the outputs you have on your video card you might not need any converter...
do you have a tv out? composite or s-video
then it's just a matter of finding the right cable/adapter (s-video/scart/composite...)
