You are correct :) It's running really sweet. Also it means I can replace the huge HTPC case sat in my AV rack with a tiny external creative sound card (the width and length of a playing card), which stays permanently conneted to my Denon via an optical cable. Then when I want to listen to music I j...

I'm not sure what spec you guys are using for your machines running G-Force but since I'm about to switch from a Dinosaur PC built around 10 years ago to using my laptop (when my new soundcard arrives) I'm keen to see how the laptop spec compares to what others are using. Just to summarise it's a du...

Hello johncarrion To the best of my knowledge G-Force does NOT work with 64 bit systems. May I suggest you read this thread:- http://www.soundspectrum-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=6522 Regards BTT I'm using the latest GF Platinum with JRMC 14 on my 64 bit Windows 7 VAIO and it's working just fine. I ...

I was being sarcastic - forgive me. I already ordered it from Amazon and checked the reviews. I just wondered if anyone here had used one of these as they look pretty neat.

Ok, maybe I'm nearing a solution. This external USB soundcard... http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Soundblaster-Surround-System-SB1095/dp/B0044DEDCA/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top looks like it will do the trick with my laptop and having tried running GF on it there is no stuttering. With the HDMI port on th...

Well I cannot justify replacing all of my HTPC. One option I could investigate is using my Sony Vaio Laptop instead as this is a dual core T6600 @ 2.20 Ghz with 4GB RAM. So I guess that would perform better. It has an ATI Mobility Radeon 4570 with HDMI out. Do you reckon that would perform ok? Is th...

I've been using G-Force with JRMC for many years, in fact ever since the first day JRMC support was provided so it's a shame that I've finally been forced to give it up. No matter what I tried GF made my HTPC run very slow. I reverted to JRMC's own built in Visualisation Studio and am pleasantly sur...

I've looked all around GF Toolbar preferences and see no mention of sprites. I've disabled flowfield unions but could someone please help me disable sprites as recommended above.

Sorry if it's obvious to you guys but not everyone understands the jargon used.

Is there anywhere that lists all the things you should tweak and how to do it in order to get GF to run smoothly on a slower system? I've been reading through the forum and the FAQ but a lot of it is techie mumbo jumbo to me.

Also if I did decide to replace the system I could do with some advice as it's about 10 years since I tried building a PC and I've no idea how things have changed. If I buy a new mobo / CPU and Graphics card could I fit it in my existing Accent HT100 HTPC Case ? Also would any of these parts of my c...

Thanks BTT, I'll give that a try when I get home. It's that sort of customisation I was hoping to find out about. It seems to be so customisable there must be ways of reducing the power need to run GF. As far as migrating to WinAmp I'm not going to do that because if you ever used JRMC for any perio...

I was hoping that wasn't going to be the case. I can't really justify replacing the whole thing when I don't use it that often. The old GF seemed to work really well but I had to upgrade it due to JRMC support. Is this happening because the new GF is a bigger drain on your system?
