Just got the Platinum a few days ago and haven't had much time to sit down and relax with my favorite screen saver, especially with summer coming on. What I've seen so far, it seems cool. It seems smoother, and that more is going on at the same time than in previous versions. I didn't have that omg ...

I was about ready to let my subscription lapse since I didn't see anything really happening with this product, until I read this thread. With the promise of G-Force 4.0 coming out this year, I figured I'll sign up for another year (I've been a subscriber for over 3 years now). I could care less abou...

I would like to second the idea of using album cover art within G-Force. I would like to have G-Force be able to grab the currently playing songs album art, and use it as one of the sprites that would be grabbed sometime during the duration of the song. In other words, within the duration of the son...

Slight pause at end of every song
Not sure if others experience this. I'm running G-Force within Vista Media Center, and about 5 seconds or so before each song finishes and before the VMC display pops up telling you what you just listened to, there is a momentary pause in G-Force. This has actually been happening for quite a while, ...

The 22nd Century (Germaine Topic; PLS Do Not Zap. -JayPro)
On PBS tonight was a show called the 22nd Century. Many of the backgrounds used during the show were G-Force patterns being displayed. Very cool. Check it out when you get a chance.
Very freaky episode, as well. Talking about the World Wide Mind!!!

Another idea(s)
How about a setting which gives a choice for sprites to change at the beginning of a new song, or not. Currently, if I want to see album art as a sprite, I have to download a picture of the album and then save it in a Sprite foler. Also, I have little or no control on when that sprite is going to sh...

I'm still getting that Quicktime error message even after ensuring that Quicktime was showing up in the task tray. I just went through all of the Sprites that I had added and made sure there were no movies, and changed all of the GIFs into JPEGs, hoping that will solve the error message. I'll keep y...

I gues, not only does Quicktime need to be installed, but it also needs to be running (at least in the toolbar, where I guess allows it to be running in the background). I had installed Quicktime as an application, but stopped it from putting itself in the toobar. When I would run G-Force I was stil...

Quicktime required?
I downloaded the most recent version of G-Force Gold, and was enjoying the heck out of it last night. Then, in the middle of a song, a message in the far upper left hand corner came up (g-force continued to run just fine) that said something to the effect that it couldn't find some Quicktime file in...

After a ton of trail and error, I was able to load most of the new Nvidia drivers. Got the newest Nforce4 driver, but not the newest Purevideo driver (kept bombing out on me). I then reset the Preference(*).txt files to 0. G-Force seems to be working now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the o...

Thanks, Andy. Just to clarify the one note: JoeHendrix wrote: Later, I also noticed, after I had shut down MCE to get to the WinXP screen that the G-force screensaver was on. This had never happened before. I was watching TV from within MCE for a couple hours. I then closed MCE, which drops you into...

I bought this computer in October, 2005. It had the latest version of the Nforce4 drivers, and Purevideo drivers installed on the machine. I had been hesitant on installing the most recent drivers from Nvidia, because of all of the horror stories I had heard with the latest drivers , but I went ahea...
