Mapping color to pitch

Sorry about dropping out of this thread. I was thinking about two different things when I asked about mapping color to pitch. There is a theory that relates different pitches to different shakras. Sounded like it might be interesting to try playing music that would relate to the shakras and have col...

I'd like a specific color to map to a note.
Over the last few centuries there have been different schemes proposed

on page 21 there is a chart of different schemes.

It might be lousy approach, but I am curious.

color mapping to pitch

I'd like to be able to map color to pitch. I see a few threads that asked if this is possible, but they are several years old. Is there any mapping to pitch in G-Force, ( or Aeon or Whiteclouds)?

I just noticed that the reply to your (Mike's) post didn't make it onto the forum.

I am using standalone.

I tried the audio test scene and it looks a lot like the audio source for fluid is "playing " even with the audio source set to line in.
Any clues?

changing response to silence

Is there some (easy) way to stop or slow down the visualization when there is silence? I've tried turning down the response scale, the preamp, and even muting my sound card, but it is still quite active.
In G-Force the auto sprite and auto particles were the problem.
