Granted it is still a work around as you said.. but for now, a keyboard comand list would make it a little bit less anoying.
I'll do the same and keep you posted.
I wonder if we can escalate this thread to have a company tech look at it.

I found a "kind of" solution, also clarify my prob
Here is what I found with this issue. I can "use the mouse" to click on the menu icons, for the wave, background, etc. and move through the menus.. only the mouse will not click on the navigation arrows or the "x" key in the bottom right hand corner.
