I think 4.0.1 does improve windows functionality. At least when using it with MediaMonkey. Sprite loading is smoother and full-screen frame rates are much closer to optimum.

I like using g-force with mediamonkey, but it's really all about how you tweak the configurations to your taste, which images you put in the sprites folder, and how much time you have to get sucked into the swirling vortex of pretty pretty doom.

Sorry, but I don't have a clue where OSx stores its preferences. Maybe a folder called preferences? Or perhaps a drop-down menu? And have you already tried setting the frame height in the g-force control bar?

I downloaded the trial version of g-force for mediamonkey and am happy to report that it works perfectly.

If the faq hasn't been updated recently to reflect the total windows 7 compatibility issue, perhaps you could include that g-force works with mediamonkey's latest on windows 7.

Juxtiphi -

So you're saying that G-Force is not compatible with 64bit programs, but x86 programs like mediamonkey (and itunes) should run g-force just fine, regardless of the Windows 7 version?

I was able to run g-force on iTunes with Windows 7 64bit. Will it work on media monkey?

This thread in the how-to forum has some info: http://www.soundspectrum-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=507 But you'll have to look up where your preferences file is stored on your mac, open it with whatever text editor, and set the frame height to 10000. That was the only way I got rid of the frame on i...

MediaMonkey, G-Force, and Windows 7

Howdy - I've got a license for the iTunes version of G-force, but have become disgusted with iTunes and Apple's obnoxious bloatational background processes, not to mention lack of file support and general memory consumption. I've migrated my media library over to MediaMonkey, and am considering upgr...
